Wojak, also known as “Feels Guy”, is an internet meme that started as a black-outlined drawing of a bald man with a wistful expression.
The meme first appeared on the Polish imageboard Vichan with the name ciepłatwarz.jpg (warmface.jpg) and was later reposted to the German imageboard krautchan in 2010.
It is often used as a reaction image to represent feelings like melancholy, regret, or loneliness.
The meme then became popular on the 4chan imageboard, where the character became associated with phrases like “I know that feel, bro”, “that feel”, or “that feeling when”
Wojak has also inspired a cryptocurrency project called WOJAK, built on Ethereum
